x+why are giving away an office for up to six people for six months at Arding & Hobbs, Clapham Junction.

T&Cs: Open to UK residents aged 18+. Winner chosen by a pre-selected panel at an in-person event on Thursday 20th November at Arding & Hobbs, Clapham Junction. Closing date for entries 5pm on Friday 7th November 2025.

Limited to 1 entry per business. Current members at Arding & Hobbs may apply with a view to first prize being an extension of their current lease by 6 free months.

The winner be will chosen on the 20th November 2025 by a panel of pre-selected judges. Winners redeeming the 6 months office space prize must be one team taking from 1 - 4 desk's space accordingly.

Each applicant will be asked to present a 5 minute timed elevator pitch to explain their business and why it deserves to win the prize. Judges will select the business which they believe shows the most promise. The judges decision will be impartial and final.

Selection of businesses to pitch: 6 entrants will be selected to pitch on the night, please look out for an email to confirm whether you have been selected, by 5pm on the Friday 14th November 2025. Selection is at the discretion of the hosts.

Prizes

First Prize: a Free six month leave of a private office (up to 4 people) at Arding & Hobbs, 110 St John's Road, Clapham Junction, SW11 1QN. The office space will be selected by x+why and the winning business will be subject to the usual member rules and regulations. The winning business will need to sign a Member Contract for the period of the lease.

Runners up Prize: 2nd prize – will receive 3 months free of charge in either a private office or coworking space worth over £2,000 and 3 months access to FundingHero.

Winners will be announced at the event on the 20th November 2025.

There is no cash alternative to the prize, and no prizes may be transferred to another person or business.

Prizes will be redeemable as of 20th November 2025. Although move-in dates for the office will have to be arranged in advance at a time suitable for the winner and x+why site team.

Copyright and Publicity
Copyright to the entries will remain with the entrant. but the entrant licences x+why to use any photography or videography of their pitch captured on the night,  to promote the brand across websites and social media. The Winner and Runner Up will be announced on the x+why social channels and on the website.
