Meet the 100 Embankment team - Abi, Luke, Charlotte and Rebecca
This powerhouse team are charged up and at the ready for the launch of 100 Embankment, x+why's first site serving the wonderful communities of Salford and Manchester.
Embankment is centrally located just a four minute walk from Victoria Station. With a striking design and stunning views across the cathedral and river it is the perfect place for businesses to grow.

Abi Dickens, Community Associate
What is your why?
A desire to make a positive impact in life, even if its small.
What are you most excited about the launch of 100 embankment?
I’m most excited about being a part of running events in this new space (especially the roof top) and being part of a great new team.
What’s your favourite hidden gem in Manc/Salford?
New Century is definitely a hidden gem, the ground floor is filled with different independent food traders and bars, and the first floor is used as a really good music venue for events.

What is your why?
Knowing you’ve played a part in creating a memorable experience and having a positive impact on somebodies’ day.
What are you most excited about the launch of 100 embankment?
Showcasing what x+why has to offer to the people of Salford and Manchester. That and the pool table!
What’s your favourite hidden gem in Manc/Salford?
The Marble Arch. Stunning traditional pub, just a stone’s throw from the city centre.

What is your why?
Coffee! Kidding! Kind of.. My why is definitely impact, positive impact! It is incredibly inspiring working with an organisation like x+why, who are genuinely dedicated to changing how the world works for good.
What are you most excited about the launch of 100 embankment?
The people and the ideas! I'm so excited to see who finds their home in x+why 100 Embankment, and from this what great ideas will come to life.
What’s your favourite hidden gem in Manc/Salford?
The Flat Baker, Kerb and/or Fletcher Moss Botanical Garden depending on the mood. Non of which are seemingly hidden but definitely gems!

Rebecca Quigley, Senior Community Manager
What is your why?
My ‘why’ is people. I want to create a sustainable workforce and encourage my team to activate their individual purpose and find meaning to their lives. I am incredibly lucky to work alongside a group of likeminded people who are driven to impact and change for the better – it is such a positive and motivating environment to be in and I am thrilled to be on this journey together.
What are you most excited about the launch of 100 embankment?
I am so excited to welcome our very first members into their shiny new office! We are so happy to have Hannah and her team from Betternotstop on board to join forces in fighting for our mission to make the way we do business better.
What’s your favourite hidden gem in Manc/Salford?
My favourite hidden gem in Manchester is Mi & Pho – an amazing Vietnamese restaurant in South Manchester, their food is 10/10 and they make the best homemade lemonade!
